No image when import

When I try to import any video MP4 AVI doesn't matter, tried many. I just get a broken image like when your web browser cant load an image on a website. If I try to export I get a java error.

I too have this issue with an MKV with h264 video in it.

Also experiencing this issue, and wondering why.

I think it might be related to the unhanded JavaScript exception I'm encountering.
