Firefox mobile compatibility

As a Firefox user on desktop and mobile, I would really like to be able to install the extension on Firefox mobile.

I do not intend to use the DuckDuckGo browser on mobile. I'm already using Firefox Focus most of the time, and Firefox Mobile the rest of the time (using sync features).

Hey, Thanks for the submission!

We don't have this on the roadmap at the moment as the submission process for these addons would require some work in changing our features, however we do agree that it would be great to support this.

@jonathanKingston thanks for leaving this open as a "nice to have", even if it's not on the roadmap.

  1. Could we get a list of the problems in this ticket, for external contributors to be helpful?
  2. Now that even Firefox Beta allows custom addon collections it's possible to install the ddg addon without the addons store. It's possible to document and fix functional issues even without the listing. Any help there is welcome too...
