The page: https://help.duckduckgo.com/desktop/chrome/ is outdated as of Chrome v108 as DuckDuckGo is no longer an option on the search engine dropdown.

The page: https://duckduckgo.com/install correctly explains how to add DuckDuckGo as extra search engine.
