there can be easily a reason for "no schedules".

if all course combinations are colliding, we can say "no schedules: all combinations collide". or perhaps the user simply cannot take any of the sections of a course. then we can tag the course with a red blur or something and say "no schedules: you cannot take any sections from the marked courses."
