Bashlash can be implemented in the exact same way as flexible joints by a virtual joint with co-located with the true one and with the same DoFs. The "flexible" name should be generalized to distinguish the actual model from the theoretical one. For instance, just true versus theoretical. Getters (basically any utility) for the flexible model should be renamed accordingly.
