homebridge-gpio-device doesn't work anymore

Open varna33 opened this issue 5 years ago • 4 comments

Hi,

With the new version of 2019-04-08-raspbian-stretch-full, the homebridge-gpio-device doesn't work anymore.

I did fresh install of raspbian.

Downgraded in raspbian packaged wiringPi from 2.5 to 2.46 like this cd /tmp wget https://lion.drogon.net/wiringpi-2.46-1.deb sudo dpkg -i wiringpi-2.46-1.deb

installed npm install -g homebridge-gpio-device

Can't launch it, and have this error loading plugin homebdrige-gpio-device: Error: Could not locate the bindings life. Tried: -> /usr/local/lib/node_modules/homebdrige-gpio-device/node_modules/node-wiring-pi/build/nodeWiringPi.node

Please help to fix. All projects stopped. :(

I installed homebridge-gpio-device on a fresh RPI set-up with old 2018-11-13 version (not updated). I neither works.

How can I roll back or install previos homebridge-gpio-device version 0.3.9 version that was working?
