Owner of an issue will not receive email notifications

This is an issue I'm facing everyday with my customers. Often they send to me an issue by writing a mail (customers are so lazy....) so I create an issue in bugnet using my account, then I change the owner of the issue to the customer. At this point I expect that when the issue status change or a comment is inserted the owner will receive an email notification but that's not the case :( I'm using the public available version 1.6.339.0 Is there something I can configure or that's a code bug? Or maybe it's something by design (and if so I'm missing something...)? Thank you, Henrik Sozzi

Please keep this issue in standby because I've noticed an error in our internal procedure when inserting issues. I'll investigate and reporting back. In the meanwhile don't work on this issue.
