Feature request: automatically add anchor tags to markdown headings

I have a chapter in my styleguide that's a large markdown document, and I'd like to be able to make links within the document that link to other headings within that same document. If the Markdown renderer automatically added <a name="...generated-from-heading...">...</a> tags around the headings, then I could easily add those links.
