the images are very, very heavy on the page https://wanderinginn.com/table-of-contents/
Hello.
On the page: https://wanderinginn.com/table-of-contents/
first example the chapter: https://wanderinginn.com/2017/03/03/rw1-02/
check this epub with or without images:
second example but this with 13 chapters
the first example is 1 chapter and the second there are 13.
The image to download with the extension seems like it is downloaded in high resolution, then if I want to make a whole epub of the 650 chapters the epub would weigh a huge amount and there are errors like this when creating the epub plus it takes more than 2 hours,:
The truth is that I have never been able to make an epub with the extension on this page, so my request is that if there is a possibility that the extension downloads the images in a very low resolution that does not weigh 5 mb a single image or option to swith high resolution to low.
There are chapters that have a lot of images and like this the full epub will weight like 2 gb or more.
Thank you very much. 👍
@wizerdo37 Historically, people complained when I loaded the low resolution images (for LN sites.) You can use Calibre to reduce the size of images in an epub. https://ebooks.stackexchange.com/questions/6772/how-can-i-reduce-the-resolution-of-images-in-an-epub-or-mobi-file And if Wandering Inn is too big to fetch in one go, can you grab the novel in parts, and then glue them together using something like https://github.com/dteviot/MergeWebToEpub. Unfortunately, starting from volume 7, images are being included in the chapters, and these images are downloaded in what seems to be 4K Full HD quality. I don't really know why they weigh so much, but they are quite heavy, causing the file extension to freeze and not progress. Additionally, they give Errors occur every 2 or 3 chapters.. The image above shows the errors, so it's impossible to download in parts as you suggest because the extension encounters errors.
