Search and replace

Any way to add a feature where you can search and replace certain text like in calibre?

@Iadders If you can persuade someone else to do it, maybe. I'd prefer not to do this. As I see it, WebToEpub's job is packing web into an epub. Editing an epub is a different task. And I want to keep WebToEpub as simple and easy to use as possible.

That said, I'm curious exactly what you want to do, and why Calibre isn't the solution?

It will make it much easier to clean up an epub of useless junk instead of opening calibre every time, especially from MTL websites(for example saving search and replace settings for certain websites separately like in calibre). And most of the time I use mobile kiwi browser to download epubs so it's a hassle to open the computer just to use calibre. Then again it's not really a huge problem just a minor inconvenience.

especially from MTL websites

E.g. How it translates the name "Bei Yue" as "White Moon". So you'd want/need a table of corrections, for each site. (Possibly even each story.)

I think you'd want a dedicated tool for this. Load in book, and table. Run it through, see changes. Then update table and run again. Rinse, repeat. Then save table for next time.

WebToEpub would not really be good for that.

I'll just mass edit the html files since I can't bother opening the PC just to use calibre to change one minor detail. Would still appreciate it if you could get this done or direct me to another tool that I could use on mobile to search and replace epub files.

@Iadders I don't know of a mobile tool that can do search/replace on epub files.
