wnmtl.org suddenly not working
It was working perfectly fine a while ago. Now it just says:
Searching for URLs. Please wait.
After that, I get the error:
TypeError: Failed to fetch
@ladders It's working for me now, with https://wnmtl.org/book/9035-quick-transmigration-cannon-fodder-s-record-of-counterattacks Possibly the site or you were having network problems. The error "Failed to fetch" usually means when WebToEpub made a call to the web site, there was no response at all.
It's working but only for novels with less than 500 chapters, anything with more than 1000 chaps still gives me the same error: TypeError: Failed to fetch.
I guess it's a problem with the site? since the novel you used as an example has 4000+ chapters.
Example: https://www.wnmtl.org/mobile/book/2195-way-of-the-devil Is not working for me, and gives me the same error.
@Iadders Strange, https://www.wnmtl.org/mobile/book/2195-way-of-the-devil gives me 1214 chapters. Although I'm running the test version, not the version from the Chrome/Firefox store. But, the code for that site is the same for both. What Browser are you using? Desktop or Mobile? Chrome or Firefox.
I also wonder if perhaps you're running into some sort of rate limiting from the site.
No idea what I did differently, but I tested it after waking up today and it suddenly seems to be working. Sorry for the trouble.
I have this problem too. yesterday there was an error [TypeError: Failed to fetch] reinstalled the extension several times, did not help. This morning everything worked, but by the evening it did not work again. Checked other novels now. smaller short stories can still be downloaded, but larger ones are not.

@Iadders @Davi101 Sounds like there's a problem with the load on the site. I will make some tweaks of WebToEpub to reduce the loading, and see if that helps. Note, this WILL increase the time it takes to download an Epub.
Do I need to uninstall and reinstall webtoepub for the changes to take effect? Download from chrome store or github? •kiwi browser •android
@Davi101 I haven't uploaded to the Chrome store. I think you need to turn on developer mode and load the zip from google drive, where I put the test builds. Note, I also have not updated the test build yet either. I'll post on here when I do, and you should be automatically emailed. Notes,
- Test build has not been updated yet.
- I think the Method 2 of https://www.thegoandroid.com/install-chrome-extensions-android-kiwi-browser/95996/ is what you want. Note, if you download the zip from google drive, you can skip steps 1 to 3.
- I don't test on Kiwi (or android) so I don't know if this works.
