Don't Pop Up Hint About Multiple Chapter Selection When Editing Chapter Titles

Open dastrdly6585 opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. There are cases where I want to manually edit a handful of chapter titles in the WebToEpub interface. However, after editing five chapter titles I get an un-needed hint about being able to select multiple chapters by holding shift when checking a range of chapters. Editing chapter titles is unrelated to choosing which chapters to download, so the hint should not be appearing.

Describe the solution you'd like Do not pop up a hint about multiple chapter selection while I am only editing chapter titles (i.e., not touching the checkboxes for selecting chapters).

Describe alternatives you've considered N/A

Additional context I have done edits in the 'Edit Chapter URLs' interface instead to avoid the pop-up, but that page is just a large text block with HTML links that is much less user-friendly to edit if you just want to modify the chapter title.

I guess #1486 wouldn't have the problem if it wouldn't pop up.

@dastrdly6585 Test versions for Firefox and Chrome have been uploaded to https://github.com/dteviot/WebToEpub/releases/tag/developer-build. Pick the one suitable for you, follow the "How to install from Source" instructions at https://github.com/dteviot/WebToEpub/tree/ExperimentalTabMode#user-content-installation and let me know how it goes.

Updated version (1.0.5.0) has been submitted to Firefox and Chrome stores. Firefox version is available now. Chrome might be available in a few hours (typical) to 21 days.
