Making the pop-up tool tip appear only once

Open dpython opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

I'm trying to edit the chapter titles, and I have to edit them one by one, but the tool tip pop up telling me that "You can select or unselect a range of chapters by clicking on the checkbox..." keeps popping up, and it's making an already tedious task even more tedious because now I have to get interrupted by it every few edits.

I would like there to be an option to turn this tool tip pop up off. Either an option somewhere that I can click to turn off the popups all together, or a check box that says something like "Yes, I understand, please stop showing me this." on the actual pop up.

@dpython

You're doing it the hard way.

  1. Click the "Edit Chapter URLs" button. (It's in the row of buttons just above the list of chapters.)
  2. Either edit the URLs (including titles) in the text editor that appears, (or copy/paste into an editor of your choice edit, and copy/paste back.) Note that if you use an editor, you can do bulk copy/replace e.g. "Eighty-" to "8"

@dpython Test versions for Firefox and Chrome have been uploaded to https://github.com/dteviot/WebToEpub/releases/tag/developer-build. Pick the one suitable for you, follow the "How to install from Source" instructions at https://github.com/dteviot/WebToEpub/tree/ExperimentalTabMode#user-content-installation and let me know how it goes.

@dpython

Updated version (1.0.5.0) has been submitted to Firefox and Chrome stores. Firefox version is available now. Chrome might be available in a few hours (typical) to 21 days.
