References in README.md

I noticed that references 4, 6 and 7 are gone. Fortunately, 7 seems to be available at http://statweb.lsu.edu/faculty/marx/glass_paper.pdf.

we could update the links with new ones, but this will probably keep happening.

we could add copies of the papers to the repo, but this might violate the licenses of some of those journals and conferences?

do you think we should just remove the links from the readme?
