[Feature]: Make sure the user has a pre-configured Git config on a dev environment

Problem

Currently, when I access a dev environment, I cannot push my changes because:

1. My Git credentials are not configured on the dev environment
2. My ~/.gitconfig is not uploaded

Overall, as a user, I'd like my Git configuration to be ready to use on the dev environment.
