Ponder support in UCI mode?
Hi Daniel, can you add support for ponder in UCI mode? I see that the engine can ponder in xboard mode already, but there's no option for it in UCI. Is there a reason for this? Is it difficult to add?
It was supposed to work in UCI mode too but I admit I never tested it well. Will get back to you once I fix this. Thanks!
Well maybe it works, but it doesn't even present the "ponder" option (when you type "uci") so I can enable it, and so the GUI doesn't know Scorpio can actually ponder.
I tested ponderng in Arena with scorpio as UCI engine and it actually seems to work there just fine. For some reason though, winboard with -fUCI option for scorpio doesn't seem to work with pondering.
