Mol* already internally supports something similar. https://github.com/molstar/molstar/blob/master/src/mol-model/structure/export/categories/atom_site_operator_mapping.ts#L24 Adding support for this should be fairly straightforward: - Add export support to the new category - Modify https://github.com/molstar/molstar/blob/master/src/mol-model-formats/structure/basic/atomic.ts#L118
At least the "inner ones" look like an overflow on near-white colors. Perhaps the edges too. @arose any idea where this could happen the shaders?
Maybe it's the ambient occlusion. If you turn that off, does this still happen? And if you turn of antialias?

It seems that the built screenshot blends against black background and the outside one against white. And this then creates the artifacts during the AO pass.
Yes, it is possible almost every aspect of the plug-in with custom controls outside the main plug-in. You can check for example the BasicWrapper example which shows some of these....
Sorry didnt have time yet, I will try to find some soon.
That's nice, good job... I wonder how many more times can I ask you to do 10x better :D
@giagitom wanna merge this now and possible make further changes in future PRs?
You can use a custom property which defines the carbon color at the model level and a theme which pulls the color from there.
