FreePIE not starting with plugin

Open Zanges opened this issue 9 years ago • 5 comments

I just tried the Plugin, but after I put the Plugin in the Folder FreePIE doesn't start correctly it just starts a process but no GUI so I have to terminate it via Taskmanager. I already tried with AV disabled. Also I tried a different install Location not on C

Info: Windows 10 Pro AV: Bitdefender FreePIE Version 1.9.629.0

If you download the source code and compile it yourself, it works fine. I have a feeling it was compiled for the wrong architecture.

I don't have the FreePIE on my machine anymore, but if someone submits a pull request with a working dll, I can merge it in.

Right click the plugin .dll and check the last box, it's about permissions or something like that.

Right click on the dll and go to properties, then check unblock.
