xonsh and termpdf.py

I am at a loss as to why but when I run termpdf.py under xonsh I have issues. It starts out looking at a blank screen with the escape codes ^[_Gi=1;OK^[\. Then pressing enter shows me the first page of the pdf and any further keystrokes must have enter pressed after pressing the key for them to register.

I don't know anything about xonsh, but from your description, it sounds like escape codes are not being processed in the way termpdf.py expects. Does kitty icat work on xonsh? Do you need to install something like this? https://github.com/scopatz/xontrib-kitty
