Display images?
When the dust settles on the whole text selection method I'd like to try to integrate images into the reader somehow. I was thinking we could display images we come across in kind of a lightbox manner. Maybe with a very big pause, maybe requiring user input to continue.
Any thoughts, objections?
I'm thinking the same. On 13 Mar 2014 00:03, "Peter Uithoven" [email protected] wrote:

This could be a setting, but when reaching an image, it should stop and show the image until the user clicks (taps) on it, or maybe hits a space.
Display images should be optional. If the purpose of the app is speedreading, and image integration does get added, there should be a way to disable the images, for the whole speedreading concept.
Same thing should be true for everything that needs to be seen as a whole really : tables, codeblocks, etc.
Agreed that this should be optional. The focus should be on speed-reading text, which necessarily means making a few sacrifices.
If think if it were an optional feature, it could flash up that there is a media element, and you have a few moments to hit a key to show it, else it continues.
This would be VERY cool.
I'm working on this.
