@Zbob750 Take computer to bed and spoon with it, thus spooning Potato.

RowenStipe avatar Apr 13 '16 09:04 RowenStipe

That's an ugly hack. Potato only deserves the best, enterprise-grade, code. Stay in your lane.

zachbr avatar Apr 13 '16 14:04 zachbr

Have you tried converting the project to jQuery?

28andrew avatar Aug 26 '16 02:08 28andrew

I believe this project can benefit by including all the Apache Common libraries.

As everybody knows, reinventing the wheel is stupid - which is why a Java project without Apache Commons in every class is utterly inefficient.

stuntguy3000 avatar Aug 26 '16 03:08 stuntguy3000

@stuntguy3000 But wont Apache Commons make the Potato too bloated to eat? I mean, the potato is good already.

TheDiamondYT1 avatar Aug 30 '16 17:08 TheDiamondYT1

@TheDiamondYT1 Depends. If Apache Commons is shredded bacon or something we wouldn't care that it's bloated. After all, a potato bloated with bacon is awesome.

zachbr avatar Aug 30 '16 17:08 zachbr

That's a good point.

TheDiamondYT1 avatar Aug 30 '16 17:08 TheDiamondYT1

Also cannot spork the potato either, someone add that TODO.

DrZed avatar Oct 06 '16 00:10 DrZed

rewrite the potato in erlang?

MFernflower avatar Oct 06 '16 01:10 MFernflower

@MFernFlower Potato is already cooked in Java with a sprinkle of Maven, why re-cook it?

TheDiamondYT1 avatar Oct 06 '16 15:10 TheDiamondYT1

You'd need to submit a feature request to GitHub if you;d like to spoon the potato I guess.

SimonBaars avatar Oct 06 '16 15:10 SimonBaars

Spoon your computer.

TheDiamondYT1 avatar Oct 06 '16 15:10 TheDiamondYT1

What about knives? They exist too. It's hard to enjoy a delicious potato when it doesn't fit in your mouth.

DaMatrix avatar Dec 08 '16 16:12 DaMatrix

Necroing since no one seemed to state the obvious solution: Update to Mashed Potato. This will allow you to fork, spoon, and spork the Potato, with equal usability regardless of utensil, to top if off! 😄 :potato:

Get it... to top it off..... "Potato Topper"............ N-no? cough Alright, I'll go >_> lol

I have zero coding knowledge and am simply here for the lawls... 👍

Still waiting a resolution.

drtshock avatar Jan 31 '18 23:01 drtshock

Proposed solution: We need to tell github to change the "Fork" button to a "Spoon" button on Potato day or April Fools.

ItzSomebody avatar May 13 '18 19:05 ItzSomebody

We should create a Chrome/Firefox extension

dariasc avatar May 13 '18 20:05 dariasc

document.querySelector('a[href="#fork-destination-box"]').innerText = 'Spoon'

Problem solved

SuperOP535 avatar May 29 '18 11:05 SuperOP535

document.getElementsByClassName("btn btn-sm btn-with-count")[3].innerHTML = 'Spoon' works perfectly for me (throw it in the browser console and watch the magic happen)

SimonBaars avatar May 29 '18 12:05 SimonBaars

What a copycat, stealing my idea and just changing the selector.. @SimonBaars

SuperOP535 avatar May 29 '18 17:05 SuperOP535

[z,v,q,w,a,f,i,r,t,d,...b]=["ZG9jdW1lbnQ=","Y2FsbA==",atob,"noopS",["cXVlcnlTZWw=","ZWN0b3I="],"bWFw","am9pbg==","c2xpY2U=","U3Bvb24=",window,"aW5uZXJUZXh0","dWwucGFnZWhlYWQtYWM=","dGlvbnMgPiBsaTpsYQ==","c3QtY2hpbGQgPiAq"];d[q(z)][a[q(f)](q)[q(i)]("")][q(v)](d[q(z)], b[q(r)](1)[q(f)](q)[q(i)](""))[q(b[0])] = q(t);()=>p

Seems to work fine for me.

mdcfe avatar May 29 '18 18:05 mdcfe

@SuperOP535 Everyone can see it's your idea as it's right above my comment, but your command just didn't seem to work in Chrome.

SimonBaars avatar May 29 '18 19:05 SimonBaars

I tested in Chrome..

SuperOP535 avatar May 29 '18 20:05 SuperOP535

Can confirm my solution works in Firefox, and as it doesn't use anything Firefox-specific it should also work in Chrome.

mdcfe avatar May 29 '18 20:05 mdcfe

Can confirm that Firefox is the best browser.

Nearly 3 years now @drtshock, still awaiting resolution of this critical issue. Many production services are frozen as a result.
