issue with - at begging of chatID

Hi I'm trying plug in and it's working still with 1.14.5 version. The only issue I have is with a group ID. My group id start with - and it's not allowed to use it in configuration. If I put the correct ID directly on database it works Any reason to avoid - in group ID ?
