Port to MacOS

I'd love to have fac ported to the Mac OS. Sadly, I have no computer on which to do this, nor the time.

This is a major task, since it first requires porting bigbro to Mac OS, which is likely to be challenging.

The porting of fac itself will be much less challenging.
