Feature: Location Hierachy

The ability to manage a hierarchal taxonomy of locations would be super useful. This would allow us to have an inventory of physical locations.

Eg:

• Australia
  • Western Australia
    • QV1
      • Comms Room 1
      • Comms Room 2
      • WAIX Comms Room
      • WAIX Server Room
        • Rack 1
    • NextDC

Once upon a time we talked about having a “Location” object at one point internally at DBX but it kind of fell flat.

This is another thing we are currently solving with a combination of attributes and internal business logic.
