This project is a really cool effort, but since elektron released a new firmware for both digitakt and digitone that adds usb class compliance I guess your driver is no longer needed?

Have you ever tried it? You only get the stereo sum. No single outputs. This project was created because of the single outputs.

Thank you for the extra info. I don't own a digitakt (yet), but I found the new firmware interesting enough that it's gaining my interest. Only found this project today and wasn't exactly sure what the current relevance is.

So the update I linked doesn't mention the amount of channels at all. With overbridge (and this linux driver), there are 8 instrument channels that you can use then?

Just wanted to say that none of it would have been possible without the excellent work of @droelfdroelf in this project and also in https://github.com/droelfdroelf/dtdump.

In fact, he appears as an author of Overwitch.
