Voting end period is limited to end of the year

There's no reason for the end of the year to be the last possible voting deadline for collaborative drip lists. MAYBE a year in the future, but even that is arbitrary. I assume this will present issues in December though… if you are making a list on December 30th and want the end date to be January 15th, it will be impossible?
