Transparency is lost with indexed images.

It looks like I may have found a bug in the updated implementation.

The attached image will lose the transparent background when processed using your updated library. When tested against the original the library maintains transparency.

realized i have the same issue with this fork and a couple others. only the original code seems to work fine, but i was hoping for 4bpp support!
