Feature request to implement a start menu when explorer is disabled.
Once explorer is not active, retrobar is not able to access the open shell menu. it results in no start menu showing.
Why would you stop explorer tho?
I did fully remove explorer.exe due to several issues. Deleting it enables me to have two win11 VM open and also make the system very much easier to use. There ist Explorer++ and altap Salamander.... Most important settings are still accessible in pro Versions or the reactos config works one 11. Cant See a Point why explorer.exe ist important. However Explorerframedll is a system library... For the panel you do Not need Explorer.

ok but you can use open-shell/startisback/launchy
The thing is that once explorer is disabled, the shell function to link rertrobar with any third party Start Menu Launcher is disabled too. And i do Not know c# enough to patch a Fallback Menu inside retrobar.
