When plugging in charger there is a delayed reaction to the battery icon showing it is charging

Device: (PinePhone or PineTab?) PPP
Kernel Version : $(uname -r) 5.17.0-2-danctnix
UI: phosh

Steps to reproduce

Plug in charger directly into PPP or via hdmi adapter

Expected behavior

Battery icon shows it is charging immediately

Actual behavior

There is a 10-20 second delay before it shows it is charging.
