Using Chromium for the first time browsing a website forced my PPP to restart suddenly

  • Device: (PinePhone or PineTab?) PPP
  • Kernel Version : $(uname -r) 5.17.0-2-danctnix
  • UI: phosh

Steps to reproduce

As I am unable to play videos embedded in news websites etc as they play at 3-4 times the speed in firefox I installed Chromium to see if that was any better as a workaround.

Expected behavior

Ability to browse websites and select embedded videos to play

Actual behavior

As soon as I went to play the video the PPP restarted.

Update: After rebooting and testing again the same website and video in Chromium it is able to play at the correct speed, furthermore there are also options to change the speed slower or faster unlike the current version of firefox installed in the testing branch of phosh.
