Cannot find Optix.tar in /tmp directory

Hey there,

I am currently running CentOS-7, and I am trying to build moonray.

In step 3 from the docs, (documentation),

It says that I need to copy optix.tar from /tmp, however, I cannot find optix.tar in my /tmp directory.

Is there any way to get it from somewhere else?

It says that the .tar was brought in from another machine as an example. You need to manually download the OptiX 7.3 SDK from here which requires a NVIDIA Developer account (free to create). It'll download a script which when run will self-extract the SDK, which you can then copy the include folder from it to /installs/optix.
