Failed to find OpenSSL development headers.
You can try fixing this setting the `OPENSSL_DIR` environment variable
pointing to your OpenSSL installation or installing OpenSSL headers package
specific to your distribution:
# On Ubuntu
sudo apt-get install libssl-dev
# On Arch Linux
sudo pacman -S openssl
# On Fedora
sudo dnf install openssl-devel

warning: build failed, waiting for other jobs to finish...
error: build failed
make: *** [Makefile:37: build] Error 101
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour:
-
git clone https://github.com/dreamer/luxtorpeda.git
-
cd luxtorpeda
-
make dev-install
Expected behaviour Luxtorpeda should successfully compile & unpack somewhere Steam can see it.
Additional context
I have the dependencies steam
git
cargo
make
openssl
libssl-dev
& pkg-config
all installed. Again, this is on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Jammy Jellyfish.
@InklingGirl
If you're interested in luxtorpeda, you might want to use my up-to-date fork that you can see here: https://github.com/luxtorpeda-dev/luxtorpeda
It has compiled releases, as well as it should work fine to compile yourself if you want.
@d10sfan I'll try it out! Thanks.
