Can we have the same format option for numericRangeInput as autonumericInput?

I find the format option for autonumericInput extremely helpful. Could we have the same for numericRangeInput as well? Or is there any other way to format the numbers displayed in numericRangeInput? For example, adding thousand separators? Thank you in advance!
