What is the best way to do this?

I am not familiar with package control as a publisher, only as a consumer. If ownership of this repo were transferred to someone else then something would have to be updated at package control to reflect that change. I just took a couple of minutes to look at the package control docs and the solution wasn't immediately apparent although it's got to be in there somewhere.

For now, if you were to add me/us as collaborators in the current repo (Settings > Collaborators) then we could at least start making some progress reviewing and merging pull requests.

@kkurian PackageControl makes it pretty easy: tags on Github is everything we need.

If you are using GitHub or BitBucket for your hosting, you will need to create a tag each time you want to make a new version available to users.

I think we should start with a small release: only updating the contribs version.
