HDOP target for fix
I’ve noticed when using ttnmapper on my iPhone vs using the GPS data from the tracker that the tracker is often off in position for a few 10s of metres. This is likely due to the power saving and that the code seems to use the first valid fix to send. It would be good if we could set an HDOP target for valid GPS data as this would allow the user to trade power usage vs position accuracy. For use when mapping LoRaWAN coverage, higher accuracy is vital and can be traded against power consumption
It looks like developer is fast with adding requested features to firmware, which is great! Only this issue was somehow not updated yet with the good news..
changelog for v1.5.3:
- Add AT Command (AT+PDOP) to adjust PDOP (Position Dilution of Precision), lower value has higher accuracy and more time to fix (recommend 2.5)
