Feature Request: Increase maximum number of cards in Sealed pools
Detailed Description
Currently when you choose to do Sealed, you can have a sealed pool of up to 120 cards. I would like to do some wacky stuff like put an entire cube list or a list of an entire 36-pack booster box (540 cards) and build a sealed deck from a massive pool. For example, some friends have been doing a format (in paper) where they crack an entire booster box and build a Commander deck from it. That would be fun to do online, but currently I don't know of any services that are suitable for building a 540-card pool. (Cockatrice can do it but without a visual interface like Dr4ft's, it's really difficult and annoying). Simply increasing the sealed pool size cap on Dr4ft would enable these shenanigans.
Further Information
If possible, instead of a dropdown menu (in which case implementing a cap of 540+ would be really cumbersome), there could be a simple "type in a number" dialog box (with a maximum so you can't crash the server by typing in 9999999). A maximum of like 720 or 1024 or something would be great. I have absolutely no idea how servers work, so maybe even allowing users to mess around with gigantic sealed pools is a non-starter for tech or cost reasons, in which case feel free to ignore this request. Not a high priority at all.
I requested up to 36 back in https://github.com/dr4fters/dr4ft/issues/64 already. There are funny modes like "36-pack Chaos Sealed at GP Portland" or "Full Box 2HG Sealed at GP London".
Maybe the input field (with additional +/- buttons?) as you suggested, and which is part of the new design draft too, are just more flexible and the way to go.
