option for hiding output when no audio is playing

Hi! I'm using this on some raspberry pis with snapcast, working like a charm.

However, on my OLED, I'm worried about the red bar burning in, whenever audio stops playing and I forget the TV is on.

Is it possible to have an option for hiding output after a period of silence? Or is there a better way of reducing this "lowest level" bar to a zero height just in my config or something?
