It doesnt read my config

I tried changing things in my config but it doesn't read it. Also checked the rights and they were all correct. Even completely restarting my PC doesnt work. Using Manjaro KDE. EDIT: I am using the git version from AUR.

I copied the example to ~/.config/vis/ and have tried changing various settings but none of the changes are reflected when I run vis. Any ideas?
