Color table slider

I think it would be very useful to have an on the fly color table selection tool via a slider. It would allow you to get rid of ground clutter, among other uses, without having to modify the entire color table itself.

The only other software I can recall that ever implemented this was the now defunct application named StormLab. I attached a video demonstrating how it worked.
