[Channel request]
First of all; thanks very much for making this available! Feedback below is intended to be constructive, not complaining ;)
I'm setting up Jellyfin with a HDHomeRun for Freeview, and this seems to be basically working as a "TV Guide Data Provider", but there are a number of discrepancies/inconsistencies - most importantly around the HD and regional (Northern Ireland) variants of BBC, ITV, 4 & 5, but also there are some mismatches in channel names, which requires manual mapping in Jellyfin, and lots that are just missing. Below is a list of channels, by number, that Jellyfin doesn't find an exact name match for, along with the name that the HDHR is getting off the air, and (if any) the closest match I'm finding in the XML. A lot of these channels I don't really care about, but listing all of them for completeness.
My postcode is in BT49.
This may be somewhat partially addressed by #55
I may have a go at forking this project and see if I can contribute something at some point...

Thanks for the feedback!
I'll add some of the channels that don't already exist. In regards to HD channels, BBC channels are sourced from Sky, where there was a closure of SD channels. I don't provide a separate source for SD channels for a few reasons:
- SD and HD channels simulcast the same programmes
- Different providers display their programme names/info/images differently
- With so many regional channels, it would take up more space
Some of the other names I'll clean up though (most were taken from their source, but I'll recheck them)
Thanks!
Re. BBC, I was thinking that the same data could be used for both HD and non-HD variants, but I do see how that would create a lot of extra data. I'd be nice if XMLTV had some sort of mechanism for aliasing channels (on the consumer side), but I'm guessing it doesn't (I should really study the standard).
Meanwhile, I think it's a bit inconsistent that there's "BBC One NI HD", but there's no "BBC Two NI HD", and the same for UTV, Channel 4, and 5. I'm actually thinking about filtering out the non-HD variants, since there'd no reason to use them, so maybe ideally the guide data would do the same, but perhaps it's too late - might affect existing users if this was changed?
I should really study the standard
Yeah, it's annoying that that's not really a thing. XMLTV feels kind of half-baked for the channel info and wild for the programme info (such as, you can have an HD flag for a programme, but not a channel). If you fancy some bedtime reading, I used this to write the XMLTV generator :)
Meanwhile, I think it's a bit inconsistent that there's "BBC One NI HD", but there's no "BBC Two NI HD", and the same for UTV, Channel 4, and 5.
Yeah, that's my bad. I've gone through the names and updated channels that pull from HD sources to have HD in their name, so should be a lot more uniform (aside from maybe UTV)
