Provide some renaming mask tag for page titles

Open TechTrooper opened this issue 5 years ago • 6 comments

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Browser Firefox 69.0.2 (64-bit) & 71.0a1 (2019-10-04) (64-bit)
  • Version 4.1.2

Describe the bug Whenever I use title either in subfolders or mask field, it does absolutely nothing and no folder is created.

e.g.

Subfolder: *title*
Mask: *idx*.*ext*

Result = all files appear within Downloads folder and no folder is created

Subfolder:
Mask: *title*/*idx*.*ext*

Result = all files appear within Downloads folder and no folder is created

Expected behavior A download folder is created using either tab or webpage title.

*title* is not the page title, but the title of links/images if any. The subfolder dropdown doesn't support renaming mask tags.

I could probably add something like pagetitle that would work like you want.

Ok, good to know :) It would be very useful feature, at least for my use case.

When downloading multiple files from almost any site, there's usually useful information in the page title and I want to avoid manual work as much as possible.

I'd second that! A tag pagetitle would be of great advantage for me.
