DownTA OneClick - how to use with one instead of four clicks?

Your DownThemAll! and Browser Version and Language and Operating System

3.0.8 on MacOS 10.10

Expected Behavior

OneClick should permit the download of a certain page with one click

Actual Behavior

OneClick does not remember the former selection.

Steps To Reproduce

Given is a web page which is both the active URL and shows a link to itself on this page. Such as: http://www.website.org/index.php/xyz This html page was saved before, many times. It was added to the Download Manager, too, by (+) and URL. Download worked fine, download folder does exist.

I get the message: DownThemAll! was unable to proceed! Either there were no links selected to download, or information like download folder is missing.

The second step then is to then to select the link (which requires extra scrolling), the third step is to click [Start!] and yet another step to close the Download Manager Window.

The download itself works fine. The download mask xyz_y-m-d_hh-mm.html works just perfect.

But obviously I do not get the concept, how a OneClick should work, with actually a single one click.

I guess I do expect from the Download Manager to give a certain URL some kind of permanent, sticky status, such as a bookmark.

Even better: I'd welcome some automatic download feature, to trigger a download daily at e.g. 7/10/13 o'clock.
