I guess doc changes have not happened yet for this issue? I see there's a blog post at https://blog.openj9.org/2021/09/24/balanced-gc-performance-improvements-eden-heap-sizing-improvements/, which would be good background/reference/something to point doc readers at.

The ID team will take a look to see what further doc updates are required.

I can reproduce the above behaviour on Firefox and Edge. Next step would be to try a vanilla MkDocs+Material and see if that shows the same behaviour.

Search does seem a bit random. For example, "codecache" finds -XX:[+|-]PrintCodeCache but not -XX:codecachetotal. The MkDocs software levels need updating, which might make a difference. Looks like some search index...

The MkDocs levels have just been updated but this problem still exists. Needs more investigation. For example, looks like the colon (:) was until just a few days ago replaced...

Seems sensible to me. We can get Javadoc from the head stream during development, so developers can check their updates, but the final doc publish can use the release branch....

Copied into the description an example file containing strings to look for.
