I am not sure the starting version of using .local suffix under MacOS, so this pull request is just a workaround...

@windreamer yes, relevant. I don't know what's the starting version for Mac to have this feature. Also in AWS's osx image, it seems that the hostname does not include .local suffix(https://travis-ci.org/douban/paracel/builds/180967823). So, for mac user, a workaround should be modifying the /etc/hosts file to redirect the hostname DNS. Do not merge this pull request. Thanks.
