Is this project dead?
I'm really impressed by this project and how it is used on try.dot.net and also docs. Unfortunately it seems that microsoft and/or the community is working since over 2 years on the public iframe support. Looking into the commits, open pull requests and issues, it looks like this project is no longer maintained.
Are there any plans to keep this project active? I would really love to have it embedded in my blog.
Any hints would be highly appreciated!
It's not dead. The team is very small and we've been focusing on .NET Interactive. We'll put up a road map issue soon to outline what the next version of Try .NET will look like.
Aside from just putting up a road map, this web page should also be updated: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/platform/try-dotnet
Simple to embed
Go beyond copy and paste samples to live snippets. Our private preview customers can embed live .NET code into blogs and documentation.
What is the "private preview"? When people new to .NET Try see that, they assume the iframe is working already, just not public yet or behind some paywall or something. It is very missleading...
Also, that section on the website should mention nuget packages as well. Is nuget package support a planned feature? Many of us want to use .NET Try iframes with custom nuget packages so we can make interactive tutorials for our projects.
Is this accurate? The website says "Use Try .NET to light up your online learning experiences and documentation." But you can't actually do any of this? Thanks.
Is it possible to get a private preview for my open-source project?
