I installed the prerelease version: 7.0.0-rc.1.6883 of Microsoft.Maui.Controls.Maps & Microsoft.Maui.Maps

When I debug it will shows; Microsoft.Maui.Platform.HandlerNotFoundException: 'Handler not found for view Microsoft.Maui.Controls.Maps.Map.'

Make sure you call UseMauiMaps in MauiProgram.cs

Hi @VladislavAntonyuk I am facing the same issue,I have added UseMauiMaps in MauiProgram.cs .I am using VS 17.4 Preview for mac. Nuget Version is 7.0.0-rc.1.6883 for Microsoft.Maui.Controls.Maps & Microsoft.Maui.Maps.

Do we have a work around for to handle this ?

If you are on Windows (WinUI app), it is expected. Maps handler will be a part of Community Toolkit (it will be shipped in November)

On other platforms it should work. See article and sample: https://vladislavantonyuk.azurewebsites.net/articles/Customize-map-pins-in-.NET-MAUI.

Also make sure your target framework is net7.0
