Cannot install .NET 7.0 SDK (v7.0.203) on M1 Mac

The error message in the log is in German, to the effect of "failed to extract files". I verified the checksum.

Can you try redownloading the package? This was the April release and this is the first error we've seen like this so the package should be ok. Maybe something failed in the download process.

I have tried downloading multiple times and have also verified the checksum, unfortunately the checksum matches and re-downloading didn't solve the issue.

@AyeshaHameer Have you had any issues with the .NET 8 releases on the M1?

Old issue triage: closing as 7 is out of support and assuming 8 is fine on M1s.
