this has been a really useful document for me. But its been a struggle to get through. Not because the article is bad in any way - its very well written - but because the process has changed since this was written. Apple's pages have changed layout, and the process around the Maccatalyst option in the Apple ID doesn't seem to work as advertised now! I've played around a bit in order to get the desired results.

I'd also love to see this extended or refer to another document to get it into TestFlight, and talk about issues there, for example, when defining tests, you can't create external testers without first defining a group for internal testers! Apple must be smoking something strange? No Windows C# developers like me could really use as much help as possible! The importance of the certificates and the process can't be over-stated. I might be struggling for weeks so far trying to get it into the Apple store, but I did get some successes with failing feedback from Apple - which now just get crashes when they try and install the app. Anyway - this is getting well out of scope for this document, but it would be a great help if Microsoft can supply a dev's guide to the TestFlight and Apple release process in addition to how to publish this.
A trouble -shooting guide of common issues might really help the next developer?
