Not an real issue, i would prefer MSI instead of EXE

isnt possible to provide MSI instead of EXE installer? Would make my life easier in deploying .net core...

@Saxomania do you mean for the runtimes or the SDK? What advantages does the MSI bring for deployment?

i can extract the productcode directly from the MSI file and do not have to install it via EXE first and then search the productcode in the uninstall section from regedit for both installations (x86 and x64)

we are using the desktop runtimes.

MSI is much easier/cleaner to install via Group Policy Object.
