Display Name Attribute / How to get “Display name” on the label of in Blazor's razor page?

Open Tiberriver256 opened this issue 4 years ago • 4 comments

This is a duplicate of #12572 which looks like it may have been closed accidentally. I'm not seeing any PRs associated with the issue or any documentation on how to use the display name attribute.

Leaving the description kind of empty here as I'm thinking re-opening the initial request might be the best option but if I need to fill in the details here let me know.

Thanks for the issue report. You're right, looks like the author of the other issue closed it without a resolution. We're putting this in our backlog and we'll look in to this as part of our next planning.

Is this something that will still happen? Maybe as part of .NET 6?

We're still needing this on Blazor core APIs. We have community implementations with components but will be nice if we can have something like this:

<input type="text" class="form-control" @placeholder="model.Name" />
